A senior executive team was generally viewed as ineffective and
too big by those within the team as well as by the CEO and the unfortunate
junior management who reported to them. The team was argumentative,
micro-managing, mistrustful and had not been able to set out a strategy
for where they were going.
Rheault-Williams interviewed each member of the management team
as well as select top performers from throughout the company to
"hold up a mirror" to the senior team so they could see
how they were truly being perceived. We then worked with the CEO
and the senior team to help them reestablish their charter, values,
membership, and focus.
One year later, the team is working productively and at the appropriate
level - proactively articulating the company strategy and direction,
and speaking with one voice about the company's future and its change
agenda.
